Console and I/O

The first program calls .console() on a text literal. With the recorded local neboc 1.0.1 binary, its executable opened a native Console window, displayed Hello from Nebo!, and exited cleanly when the window was closed.

This does not establish ordinary stdout output, arbitrary terminal compatibility or display support in a headless environment.

The 1.1.0 language tour describes typed Scan input with a mock value. Its file recipe uses explicit filesystem imports, a private working directory and a read bound. These are documentation references; this website has not re-executed them.

  • Successful compilation demonstrates that a specific source was accepted.
  • Recorded text or a trace demonstrates the output captured by that test interface.
  • A visible window demonstrates presentation in that graphical environment.

One observation cannot replace the others. The release limitations identify Console trace channels as test interfaces and X11 display as environment-dependent.

For missing output, include the compiler identity and display environment in a report. See compile and run.
