CLI, Runtime, and ABI
Source boundary: This page summarizes the Edition 1 documentation shipped with
nebo-v1.1.0. It is a reading guide, not a fresh execution test or a compatibility guarantee for your compiler.
Command-line interface
Section titled “Command-line interface”The 1.1.0 README lists check, emit-asm and build in its documented source workflow. Those commands respectively request checking, Assembly output and an executable. Its prerequisites and paths belong to that release’s source checkout.
The site’s independently recorded workflow is narrower: build and run the exact local 1.0.1 hello example. No current SDK installation or full CLI option matrix has been tested here.
Runtime behavior
Section titled “Runtime behavior”The recorded hello executable used a native Console window. Runtime output, desktop presentation and process exit are separate observations. Do not infer terminal behavior, absence of C/libc dependencies or a general static-ELF guarantee from the example.
ABI and target boundaries
Section titled “ABI and target boundaries”The release documentation names a Linux x86-64/System V target. This site has not independently certified that target for the current compiler. Internal layouts, calling conventions and compiled interfaces should be read as version-specific implementation contracts until a supported public ABI is validated.
For integration work, record the compiler binary, source revision, target, toolchain and runtime together. See limitations before depending on cross-version or cross-platform compatibility.
