Install Nebo

No current installation is certified by this website. The reliable starting point is the official release list, followed by the verification and migration documents belonging to the same release as your archive.

The 1.1.0 release includes VERIFY.md, MIGRATION-GUIDE.md, KNOWN-LIMITATIONS.md and SHA256SUMS. Read them before extracting or running anything. Keep evaluation files in a new directory you own, and preserve any existing installation.

The first-program evidence belongs to a local 1.0.1 SDK and a graphical Linux environment. The exact compiler digest is listed in the first program. The public 1.0.1 archive currently listed on GitHub must not be assumed to be the same local archive used for that evidence.

The 1.1.0 release’s own limitations name Linux x86-64/System V and local NASM, GNU ld, Ninja and Python prerequisites. These are release-document statements, not newly verified support claims from this site. See compatibility limits.

Use the checksum instructions to compare the selected artifact with its manifest. A digest match checks file identity; it does not validate installation, safety or compatibility. Do not substitute an untested package-manager command or run an installer with administrator privileges to reproduce this guide.

Next: read the first program, which remains useful even without installing the compiler.
